… we want to be free … to tweet where we want to tweet.

And so you shall … thanks to all your feedback so far from the beta on what we need to add, change or remove. New things coming your way soon will mean you will be tweeting from our website, no leaving to sign in to twitter any more. We are trying hard to spoil you with a new dedicated twitter account that you can request review links from, meaning no need to leave your twitter client of choice. We are stopping our geeks from going into Pinterest wormholes and getting them coding for you.

There are also a host of small changes to searching and tweaks to how pretty we are. Our data team continue to rub the letters off their keyboards to bring you new places to eat every day and we thank you for the reviews you are already sharing.

We have a build and change list as tall as a mighty oak, but if you want us to do something different, then let us know. In the meantime … carry on reviewing!

We thought we would not only use our blog page to highlight the new features or areas that have been added to twitreview recently, but also share some of the food/restaurant blogs we have discovered while putting our little project together. (if 80,000+ places to eat or takeaway is still considered a little project)

By the way the areas that have been recently added to twitreview are: Bristol, Bury & Reading. As well as Penrith, Ullswater & The Eden Valley.

Now onto the first blog we wanted to share.

A Forkful of Spaghetti is a Kent based blog, and we really like this type because it focuses on local businesses and produce. Food bloggers like @aforkful provide an insight into the local area (just like twitreview does for eating out), be it a superb cake shop, great farmers with amazing vegetables & meat products or even an in-depth piece on a new restaurant off of the high street. This month there is also a recipe for mincemeat morsels…yum

http://aforkfulofspaghetti.blogspot.com/

If you like @aforkful’s blog, you might also want to take a look at A Kentish Kitchen which is devoted to produce local to Kent and some long-forgotten goodies.

This is our last post until the new year when we will have more areas being added including Oxford & Cambridge. Of course if you are eating out over the holidays, don’t forget to submit your reviews and let the businesses know where they can find them.

Happy Holidays from all of us at twitreview

This week saw the launch of TwitReview’s private beta, and we would like to thank everyone that has signed up. As a result of the amazing feedback received, we have been able to make the following changes:

•	Re-organised the business listings
•	Added the option to search by OWLi
•	Added the option to search by the business name
•	Changed the OWLi when a review is added from TwitReview, so that it links back to the business page. This means everyone will be able to see who you are reviewing & where they are.

While we have more features planned, please do keep the feedback coming in.

We want to make TwitReview as useful as possible, not only for you to submit a review but to help you make an informed decision about where to eat

Like the main course in a good restaurant, you sometimes need to wait a little bit. Perfection takes time – and so it goes with TwitReview.

We’re fiercely protective of TwitReview and operate as a close-knit gang, kind of like the A Team, only with fewer explosions.
And it’s because of our streamlined team that we have been forced to delay TwitReview’s beta launch.

We won’t go into too much detail, but with one of the founders needing to go for an X-ray and the other a CT scan, real life has pushed the release back by a couple of weeks.

It’s still coming, and if you’re lucky you might get a whiff of the delicious meal being prepared in the TwitReview kitchens, but you’ll have to hang on a little bit longer.

Free breadsticks while you wait?

Hello,

We hope you all enjoyed our little teaser videos on previous blog posts, but we thought it was about time that we showed you what you can expect from TwitReview.

The video below shows exactly how you can share your views on the places where you eat and just how simple it is.

TwitReview harnesses the power of Twitter so that you can tell everyone what you think of the restaurants, hotels, cafes, takeaways, pubs or bars where you eat out. Never before has sharing where you eat out been so quick and easy.

TwitReview collates everyone’s reviews so that you can make an informed decision about where to eat, based on what is being said right now.

We also have a whole host of features that we can’t wait to share with you but for now keep an eye out for the start of the private & public beta tests.

The best way to do this is to compare TwitReview to someone else that does online reviews. As we found out last week, if we don’t show you how slow other services are, our videos are over in a heartbeat.

Enjoy the video and feel free to leave any comments or questions for the team.

Hello,

We are feverishly preparing for the upcoming beta test, but wanted to share a little glimpse of what you can expect when the beta starts.

First we thought it would be a good idea to show you exactly how to find somewhere to eat with TwitReview, but it turned out the video was over too quickly. Then we thought is would be great to show you exactly how to review a business that you have eaten at, but that video was shorter than the first one. It really is that easy to use.

So, in the end, we put this together…

Firstly, welcome to our blog page.

This is where we will keep you updated with what’s going on in Twoo’s world -from the new areas that we are adding, to the cool new features that will help you find that ideal place to eat out.

The first announcement we have is that we have pushed back the start of the private beta to the May.

Due to the amazing response we have received and frankly astonishing numbers of people signing up to take part, we have taken steps to add more areas into the initial test. These means we will have over 40,000 businesses available for you to review as part of the private beta.

Keep checking back or follow Twoo on Twitter to be kept informed of blog posts and other new parts of the site over the coming month.

We have a couple of great additions coming up in the next few weeks that will show you just how easy it is to find places to eat and review them on Twitreview.
